World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrade of your items is an essential part of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item and enhancements.
They also provide bonus effects and enhancements. They can be acquired by contacting the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every item recycled adds level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When a weapon is upgraded, it is granted a base damage bonus as well as a scaling factor that can affect other stats. The weapon can also gain a variety of upgrade components that provide additional features or effects as well as unique cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets and gathering tools, and most require that the equipment have an upgrade slot available and meet certain specifications. A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that increases certain stats, for example Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times based on the weapon level.
Once the weapon has reached maximum upgrade, it can be reforged using a variety of different upgrade types to boost specific stats or add other bonuses and effects. These upgrades can be used simultaneously, and their effects will vary depending on how rare the weapon is.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage that a weapon inflicts.

The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with the base defense between 67 and 77 and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this it is necessary to visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations holds an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. Additionally, there are ways to increase the stats of armor beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration, or the challenger trait that reduces the weight of the entire armor.

When you put a potion into the stand for brewing, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another effect tier, and can be repeated to increase the potency.
The potion also gains a custom color code, which the player can select by using /give. This can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the effects of the potion's particle effects.

Trinket

This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze and making them more popular. At its current level the trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more prevalent and gives each floor a Y% chance to have an ebony mimic. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.
The magic from this enchanted scepter seems to be affecting the dungeon itself and making it more likely to produce grass and water. At its current level, this trinket makes X% of regular floors fill with water or grass, but it doesn't affect enchantments, the glyphs, cursed weapons, armor, or items that are created to help solve hazard rooms.
While it appears like the normal eye of a newt this mysterious item appears to affect your vision in ways beyond simply reducing your field of view. This trinket, in its current level, increases the health gained by drinking healing potions and wells of life by X% and also gives mind sight to enemies within Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters, and in chests and crates. They are not available in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will have an effect on the trinket that is random and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reforge the Trinket as often as you'd like but it will always have an effect that is new.
You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by just a little.
